The 15th edition of the Forum économique des îles de l'océan Indien (FEIOI) is jointly organised by l’Union des Chambres de Commerce, d’Industrie et d’Artisanat des Comores (UCCIA) and Cap Business Océan Indien.

These general terms and conditions apply to this event and regulate the relationship between the participant and the organisers. By validating their registration, the participants unreservedly agree to the present terms and conditions.


1. Registration fees

Registration for the 15th FEIOI is free of charge and open to all professionals. While no fees are required, registration is mandatory to facilitate logistical arrangements. The free offer includes access to all sessions as defined in the programme, to B2B meeting spaces, the opening and closing cocktails, as well as lunches and coffee breaks during the two days of the event. Any additional activities organised by partners will be optional and may entail additional costs by the participants.

Finally, please note that travel expenses (airfare, car, taxi etc.) and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the participant.


2. Cancellation

a. For the participant
Participants will be able to cancel their registration by sending an email at forum@capbusiness.io on 12 November 2025, at noon (Comoros time), at the latest, in order to allow the organisers to take all the necessary measures to ensure a good organisation.


b. For the organisers
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event in case of force majeure. In this case, an official email will be sent to the participants within a reasonable period.


3. Sanitary protocol

The event will be organised in compliance with the sanitary protocol which will be in force in Comoros in November 2025. The organisers commit to taking all the measures deemed necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and all those involved in the organisation of the forum.
For their part, participants commit to respecting all the sanitary instructions given by the organisers and official representatives at the venue. The participants are invited to seek information regarding the sanitary measures in force in Comoros before their registration.

If a decision or a case of force majeure prevents the forum from being held on the scheduled date, the organisers reserve the right to hold the event exclusively online in a virtual format. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience that may be caused but will do everything they can to adjust the sessions and the sponsorship to this virtual version.


4. Travel and accommodation

The participants to the Forum économique des îles de l’océan Indien (FEIOI) bears the travel costs and costs of stay.


5. Visa procedures

The 15th edition of the FEIOI will be held in the Comoros. Citizens of countries subject to visa requirements should ensure the procedures are initiated according to the respective duration in each country before the scheduled departure date with the consular services.

if necessary and upon request, the organisers will provide participants with an official letter or email to confirm their registration.


6. Protection of personal data

The personal data provided during your registration is accessible only to the organisers, who commit to using it solely for the purposes of the 15th edition of the Forum économique des îles de l'océan Indien.

Email addresses will be used to send emails, newsletters, and other communications to participants. For the purposes of B2B meetings, and more broadly for networking during and after the event, certain personal data may be shared with third parties (companies, organizations, or individuals). Any participant who does not wish to have their e-mail shared is invited to inform the organisers by email : forum@capbusiness.io.


7. Image rights

The organisers reserve the right to allow the recording of the conferences (sound & video) and other activities scheduled during the forum, as well as their distribution/publication (media, social media and other media) for communication and visibility purposes of the 15th edition of the Forum des îles de l’océan Indien.

By validating their registration, the participants expressly agree to be filmed or photographed in a professional setting. They allow Cap Business Océan Indien and l’Union des Chambres de Commerce, d’Industrie et d’Artisanat des Comores (UCCIA) to use these materials for communication purposes.

8. Organisers’ liability

If they are compelled to alter the conditions under which the 15th FEIOI is conducted in case of force majeure, the organisers cannot be held responsible for any cancellation fee (trip or accommodation), including taxes related to administrative procedures.

The organisers cannot be held responsible if they are compelled, for reasons beyond their control, to bring changes to such extent that they alter the quality of the sessions (ex. unavailability of some speakers, sanitary restrictions, etc.). In the face of such situations, the organisers reserve the right to postpone the event until further notice.


9. Participants’ liability

The organisers reserve the right to deny access to any participant whose behaviour could disturb the smooth running of the conferences and/or is considered a threat to other participants.

By their registration to the 15th edition of the FEIOI, the participants commit to abiding by the instructions that will be given by the organisers, the unique objective of which is to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, as well as to the smooth running of the event.
