A key event in Indian Ocean region

Strengthening Regional Synergies

The 15th edition of the Forum économique des îles de l'océan Indien will be held in the Comoros on November 18 and 19, 2025. Centered around the theme "Strengthening Regional Synergies," this year’s edition will emphasize the importance of strengthened collaboration among our island economies in the southwestern Indian Ocean region. The goal is to promote more integrated, inclusive, and sustainable development at the regional level.

A New Boost to Economic Cooperation Between Territories

The 2025 edition reflects the regional private sector’s ambition to move beyond national borders and create meaningful economic synergies across the region. It will emphasize the joint development of shared projects, the pooling of expertise and know-how, and the strengthening of intra-regional trade and cooperation.

Co-organised by Cap Business Océan Indien in collaboration with the l’Union des Chambres de Commerce, d’Industrie et d’Artisanat des Comores (UCCIA), with the support of Nouvelle OPACO, and in partnership with l'Agence Française de Développement (AFD), this event is set to serve as a catalyst for deeper economic integration in the Indian Ocean area.

A Unique Meeting for Regional Economic Operators

Over the years, this event has become a must-attend for the regional business community. It has established itself as a unique meeting platform for economic operators. It is the ideal venue to find business partners and explore new opportunities. The event is open to people from all countries bordering the Indian Ocean who aim to engage with economic operators from the southwest Indian Ocean region.
